As a result of my previous studies of cells I have decided to look at the relationship between cells and chemical reactions in the body. Through the use of ink and paint in water I have managed to take some photographs which mimic the chemical reactions in the body. Above are edited versions of the photographs and below are the raw images. I feel like this technique has been very succesful and my images are very strong. The representation of the chemical reaction and this technique in particular has worked with great effect and I am really pleased with the overall appearance of the final images. In the future I am going to incorporate the use of portraiture in my work and may revisit and re-use these photographs in collaboration with portrait photographs. The theme however will remain the same as I am going to primarily focus on the relationship between chemical reactions inside the body and then the natural human form, this is therefore looking at the relationship between nature and the human body, but in a more in depth and abstract style.
