For the beginning and basis of my project I am deciding to look into geometry and shapes that are found in nature and the relationships they share. This is a very broad topic and allows a combination of different ideas that I could pursue further into the project. Initially I will use Leonardo da Vinci as the first artist to study. His concepts and ideas are ones that very much encapsulate the ideas that I am interested in exploring. Da Vinci's work however is very classical and I am looking to turn a modern twist on a similar cocept. I think that further into the project I will look to incorporate portraits into my work whilst still keeping in touch with the naturistic theme. With this theme I could choose to pursue various different links such as nature and industrialism, nature and the human form and also nature and how the importance of nature is sometimes overshadowed now.
