In these pieces of experimentation I have decided to branch from my focus of chemical reactions and turn my attention specifically to brain scans. In some way there is still a connection with my initial da Vinci research as there is a constant theme of symettry found in brain scans. Here I have used my original photos of the ink in water but I have then edited them and mirrored them in order to connect them with the theme of brain scans. This is heavily linked to natural science and how the brain works is something that is fascinating and trying to represent such complexity through the use of art is difficult. The overall appearance of the pieces is quite strong and I feel as though they have been succesful in representing the brain scans. I may choose to revisit this technique and also theme in the future but I feel that there isn't enough contrastand depth in the pieces in order to use them as a focal point in my final piece. I am going to stick to the theme of natural science in the body and its relationship with  nature and how sometimes the complexity of it is overshadowed by the fact that we take it for granted and a lot of people dont give much though to exactly what is happening inside our bodies and how important this is to us,
